Michaelmar Phils., Inc. is urgently recruiting qualified seafarers for a 35,000 GRT Bulk Carrier. The vacancies are for deck and engine-room ratings, with a valid US Visa strictly required.
The vessel offers competitive basic salaries together with overtime pay. Overtime is applicable after 103 hours, according to the advertised rates.
Oiler (OLR) – USD 1,512/month + USD 5.09/hour OT
Wiper (WPR) – USD 1,161/month + USD 3.85/hour OT
Bosun (BSN) – USD 1,945/month + USD 6.16/hour OT
Able Seaman (AB) – USD 1,512/month + USD 5.09/hour OT
Ordinary Seaman (OS) – USD 1,161/month + USD 3.85/hour OT
Overtime rate applies after 103 hours.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Performing assigned deck or engine-room duties according to rank.
Assisting with vessel maintenance, cleaning, inspections, and routine operations.
Supporting safe and efficient cargo and deck operations.
Following onboard safety procedures and company regulations.
Maintaining assigned equipment and work areas in safe and operational condition.
Valid US Visa – strictly required.
Relevant experience in the applied position.
Previous Bulk Carrier experience is preferred.
Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid seaman's documents.
Good English communication skills.
