Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers to join a Handysize bulk carrier. Several positions are available for immediate joining, with additional vacancies scheduled for November 2026.

Candidates must meet the requirements for their respective positions. Applicants for the Chief Cook position must have experience preparing European and Turkish cuisine.

Available Positions & Salary

Chief Officer - $7,500

2nd Engineer - $7,500

2nd Officer - $3,800

4th Engineer - $3,200

Electrician / ETR - $4,200

Bosun - $2,000

Fitter - $2,300

Chief Cook - $2,000

Oiler -$1,400

OS - $1,050

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform assigned duties according to the requirements of the position.
• Support safe navigation, cargo operations, and vessel maintenance.
• Carry out engine-room maintenance, inspections, and repairs as applicable.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and participate in emergency drills.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safe working conditions onboard.

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book and required professional documents.
• Relevant experience in the rank applied for.
• Previous bulk carrier experience, where required by the employer.
• Good English communication skills.
• Chief Cook applicants must have experience preparing European and Turkish cuisine.

Employment Details

• Vessel Type: Handysize Bulk Carrier.
• Urgent Joining: Second Engineer, Chief Officer, and Second Officer.
• November Deployment: Fourth Engineer, Oiler, and one Chief Cook position.
• Salary: USD 1,050–7,500 per month, depending on rank.
• Benefits: HMO for Second Engineer and Chief Officer; seniority bonus for Second Officer.
