Job Description
Goher Maritime is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Egyptian seafarers to join Oil/Chemical Tanker Vessels operating on international routes.
The company is seeking experienced engineering, deck, technical, and catering personnel with proven tanker experience. Candidates must hold valid tanker and STCW certificates, valid seaman documentation, and be medically fit and available for joining.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to rank and company procedures.
- Support safe Oil/Chemical Tanker operations.
- Assist with cargo handling, mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
- Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, electrical, and cargo systems as applicable.
- Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and technical repairs.
- Support tanker cargo and pump operations.
- Maintain equipment and operational readiness.
- Prepare meals and support catering operations where applicable.
- Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, tanker procedures, and company HSE requirements.
- Work effectively within a professional multinational crew.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Egyptian nationality is mandatory.
- Previous Oil/Chemical Tanker experience is mandatory.
- Valid Tanker Certificate appropriate to the position is mandatory.
- Valid STCW certificates relevant to the applied position.
- Valid passport, seaman's book, and required seaman documents.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Candidates must be medically fit and available to join.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Physically and medically fit for sea service.
Position-Specific Requirements
Chief Engineer / Fourth Engineer
- Valid Engineer Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Relevant tanker engine-room experience.
ETO
- Valid ETO certification.
- Relevant marine electrical and automation experience.
Bosun / AB / Deck Fitter
- Valid deck rating/trade certification as applicable.
- Relevant tanker deck experience.
Pumpman
- Proven tanker cargo pump and cargo-handling experience.
Oiler
- Valid engine-rating certification as applicable.
- Relevant tanker engine-room experience.
Chef / Cook
- Previous shipboard catering experience.
- Relevant food hygiene certification where applicable.
