Job Description
PT Savana Charta Indonesia is currently recruiting qualified Indonesian seafarers to join a 26,000 GRT Chemical / Oil Tanker operating on international trading routes.
Successful candidates will support safe vessel navigation, cargo handling, engine room operations, machinery maintenance, deck activities, and catering services while ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations, STCW requirements, and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced tanker professionals with previous service in the applied rank onboard Chemical or Oil Tankers.

Job Responsibilities
- Support safe tanker operations during voyages and port calls
- Perform navigational and engine room watchkeeping duties according to rank
- Conduct cargo, mooring, ballast, and maintenance operations
- Operate and maintain propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary systems
- Carry out deck and engine maintenance and repair work
- Prepare meals and maintain galley hygiene standards
- Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety meetings
- Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE policies
- Maintain operational readiness and effective teamwork onboard
Requirements
- Indonesian seafarers only
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the applied rank on the same vessel type
- Fluent in English
- Valid STCW 2010 certification package
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) and Certificate of Proficiency (CoP)
- All certificates must remain valid for a minimum of 18 months
- Valid BOCT, ACT, and AOT certificates where applicable
- Completed COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
- Strong technical knowledge and safety awareness
- Physically and medically fit for sea service
