Job Description

Benteng Marine Services is recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers to join Bulk Carrier vessels operating worldwide.

The company is seeking deck, engine, and catering personnel with previous experience in the same rank and vessel type. Successful candidates must hold a valid Panama Seaman's Book and be ready to join at short notice.

Open Positions and Salaries

Deck Department

• Bosun – USD 2,262/month
• Able Seaman (AB) – USD 1,650/month
• Ordinary Seaman (OS) – USD 1,150/month

Engine Department

• Fitter – USD 2,262/month
• Oiler – USD 1,650/month

Catering Department

• Cook – USD 2,262/month
• Messman – USD 1,200/month

Job Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to assigned rank and company procedures
• Support safe vessel operations during voyages and port calls
• Carry out deck, engine room, or catering duties as applicable
• Maintain equipment, machinery, and assigned work areas
• Follow onboard safety procedures and company HSE policies
• Work effectively within a multinational crew

Requirements

• Valid Panama Seaman's Book is mandatory
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the same rank onboard Bulk Carrier vessels
• All seafarer documents must remain valid for more than one year
• Previous experience working with multinational crews
• Availability to join immediately or at short notice
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness documentation
