Job Description
PTC is currently inviting applications from qualified and experienced seafarers to join Bulk Carrier Vessels operating on international trading routes.
The company is seeking deck officers, engine officers, electro-technical personnel, ratings, and catering crew. Candidates with relevant Bulk Carrier experience and a valid US Visa are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:
- Perform duties according to the assigned rank and company procedures.
- Support safe navigation and bulk cargo operations.
- Conduct bridge, engine-room, electrical, or deck watchkeeping as applicable.
- Support cargo loading, discharge, mooring, anchoring, and cargo-care activities.
- Operate and maintain propulsion, auxiliary, electrical, and deck equipment.
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Maintain vessel equipment and operational readiness.
- Support galley, catering, accommodation, and housekeeping services where applicable.
- Participate in emergency drills, toolbox talks, and onboard safety activities.
- Ensure compliance with STCW, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and company HSE procedures.
- Work effectively within a professional multinational crew.
Requirements
General Requirements
- Valid US Visa is mandatory.
- Previous experience onboard Bulk Carrier Vessels in the relevant rank.
- Valid STCW certification relevant to the applied position.
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) / Certificate of Proficiency (COP) where applicable.
- Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
- Professional attitude and commitment to maritime operations.
- Physically and medically fit for sea service.
- Ready for deployment according to vessel requirements.
Position-Specific Requirements
Master / Chief Officer / Second Officer
- Valid Deck Officer CoC appropriate to the rank.
- Relevant Bulk Carrier experience.
Chief / Second / Third / Fourth Engineer
- Valid Engineer CoC appropriate to the rank.
- Relevant Bulk Carrier engine-room experience.
ETO / ETR / EFTR
- Valid electro-technical certification relevant to the position.
- Previous vessel electrical and automation experience.
Fitter / Oiler
- Relevant engine-room or mechanical qualification.
- Previous Bulk Carrier experience preferred.
AB / OS
- Valid deck rating certification and required STCW certificates.
- Relevant vessel experience.
Chief Cook / Messman
- Previous shipboard catering experience.
- Relevant food safety/hygiene certification where applicable.
