Crew for VLCC Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is currently recruiting experienced maritime professionals to join Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) vessels.

The company is seeking qualified candidates for positions within the Deck and Engine Departments. Successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out their assigned duties safely and efficiently while complying with vessel procedures, company policies, and applicable international maritime regulations.

Available Positions:

Deck Department:

• 3rd Officer
• OS x5

Engine Department:

• Oiler
• Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform all duties associated with the assigned rank safely and efficiently onboard the VLCC.
• Support navigation, deck, cargo, engine-room, maintenance, and vessel operations as applicable to the position.
• Follow company procedures, vessel safety management systems, and applicable maritime regulations.
• Participate in emergency drills, safety procedures, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping, professional standards, and safe working conditions onboard.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Valid Seaman’s Book.
• Valid professional certificates and licenses required for the assigned rank.
• Relevant experience in the same rank.
• Previous experience onboard VLCC / Oil Tanker vessels is preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Candidates must meet all applicable company and vessel requirements.
