Job Description

We are currently recruiting qualified and experienced crew members for a RoRo Vessel operating between the Netherlands and the UK.

Multiple vacancies are available across the Deck, Engine, Electrical and Catering Departments. Candidates should have relevant vessel experience, valid maritime certificates and be available for joining in mid to late October 2026.

Deck Department

• Able Seaman (AB) – 7 positions
• Assistant Bosun – 1 position
• Bosun – 1 position
• 2nd Officer – 2 positions

Engine & Electrical Department

• Motorman – 1 position
• ETO – 1 position
• 3rd Engineer – 2 positions

Catering Department

• Cook – 1 position
• Steward – 1 position

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the assigned position, duties may include:

• Perform all responsibilities associated with the assigned rank in accordance with vessel and company procedures.
• Support safe and efficient RoRo vessel operations.
• Carry out bridge, deck, cargo, engine-room, electrical or catering duties as applicable.
• Support loading, unloading, lashing, mooring and cargo operations.
• Maintain vessel machinery, equipment and operational areas.
• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting.
• Participate in drills, toolbox talks, safety meetings and emergency procedures.
• Follow company HSE, safety, environmental and ISM requirements.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, teamwork and operational readiness.

Requirements

General Requirements

• Relevant experience in the same or similar position.
• Previous RoRo / RoPax / cargo vessel experience preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the position.
• Valid COC/COP and applicable endorsements, where required.
• Valid Seaman's Book and passport.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Good command of English.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
• Availability to join in mid / end of October 2026.
• Candidates must provide an updated CV and certificate package.

Position-Specific Requirements

AB

• Valid AB / STCW II/5 qualification.
• Relevant deck and cargo-operation experience.
• RoRo experience is an advantage.

Assistant Bosun / Bosun

• Relevant deck-rating certification.
• Previous supervisory / deck-management experience for Bosun.
• Experience with mooring, cargo and deck maintenance preferred.

2nd Officer

• Valid OOW Certificate of Competency.
• Relevant bridge watchkeeping experience.
• RoRo vessel experience preferred.

3rd Engineer

• Valid Engineering CoC appropriate to the rank.
• Relevant engine-room experience.
• RoRo experience preferred.

Motorman

• Relevant engine-room rating qualification.
• Previous vessel experience in engine-room operations and maintenance.

ETO

• Valid ETO / electro-technical qualification.
• Relevant marine electrical and automation experience.

Cook

• Previous shipboard catering experience.
• Relevant food hygiene and catering qualifications as applicable.

Steward

• Previous shipboard hospitality or catering experience.
• Good housekeeping, hygiene and service standards.
