Job Description:
A shipping company is urgently seeking qualified crew members for deployment onboard a Chemical Tanker operating on international routes. The vessel is engaged in the transportation of liquid chemical cargoes, requiring strict adherence to safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Selected candidates will be part of a professional crew responsible for maintaining safe cargo operations, supporting engine and deck activities, and ensuring compliance with international tanker regulations. Prior experience on tanker vessels is highly valued due to the specialized nature of operations.
Open positions include: Fitter (USD 1850), Able Seaman (2 positions – USD 1550), Oiler (USD 1550), Ordinary Seaman (2 positions – USD 1200), Wiper (USD 1200), and Messman (USD 1200).
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting in safe cargo handling and tanker operations
• Performing maintenance and repair of deck and engine equipment
• Supporting engine room and deck operations as per assigned role
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards onboard
• Complying with tanker safety procedures and international regulations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (as per STCW 2010)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the same rank
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• All documents valid for at least 18 months
