Job Description:
OSM Thome is urgently seeking experienced Officers and Ratings to join a chemical tanker operating in the Persian Gulf. The vessel is trading in a high-risk area, requiring crew members who are confident working under enhanced security conditions and strict safety protocols. This is an immediate joining opportunity for qualified seafarers with tanker experience and readiness for challenging operational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring safe navigation and cargo operations in high-risk trading areas
• Supporting engine room and technical maintenance operations
• Handling cargo operations involving chemical products
• Maintaining strict compliance with ISPS, safety, and security procedures
• Assisting in daily vessel operations and emergency preparedness
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Experience on Chemical Tankers preferred
• STCW Reg II/5 certification for AB and OS positions
• Ability to work in high-risk areas
