Job Description:
Michaelmar Phils., Inc. is urgently recruiting experienced maritime professionals to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel with approximately 17,000 DWT. The company is seeking qualified officers and crew for senior deck, engine, electrical, and catering positions. Candidates should hold valid maritime certification and relevant experience for the position applied for.
Open Positions:
Master — USD 9,150/month
2nd Engineer — USD 7,000/month
Electro-Technical Officer — USD 5,200/month
Chief Cook - USD 2,161/month
Oiler — USD 1,400/month
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform all duties associated with the assigned rank in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure safe and efficient vessel operations and maintenance.
Comply with applicable STCW, ISM, and onboard safety requirements.
Participate in emergency drills, safety activities, and routine vessel operations.
Maintain professional standards and proper documentation onboard.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid Certificate of Competency/Qualification appropriate to the position.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant experience in the applied position.
Previous Bulk Carrier experience is preferred.
