Job Description

Augustea is urgently recruiting qualified and experienced seafarers for multiple positions onboard a bulk carrier operating.

Candidates must hold valid seafarer documentation, meet the requirements for their respective positions, and be available to join on 20 October 2026.

The company is offering competitive monthly salaries according to rank, together with an additional USD 2,000 war-area bonus, as stated in the vacancy announcement.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out deck operations, maintenance, and cargo-related duties as assigned.
• Assisting with engine-room operations, machinery maintenance, and repairs.
• Supporting safe vessel operations and following instructions from senior officers.
• Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and catering standards where applicable.
• Complying with onboard safety procedures and applicable maritime regulations.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and experience for the applied position.
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the rank.
• Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) or Certificate of Proficiency (CoP), where applicable.
• Previous bulk carrier experience is an advantage.
• Availability to join on 20 October 2026.
• Willingness and suitability to work in the advertised operating area.

Additional rank-specific certificates and experience may be required.
