Job Description:
We are recruiting crew for VLGC (Very Large Gas Carrier) vessels operating worldwide, with a rotation of 4 months. These vessels transport liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and require highly skilled personnel familiar with advanced cargo systems and safety procedures. Candidates must have prior experience on LPG or VLGC vessels and be capable of handling sophisticated gas handling and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Managing LPG cargo operations and monitoring gas systems
• Operating and maintaining compressors, control systems, and automation equipment
• Supporting navigation, engine, and deck operations
• Troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems onboard
• Ensuring compliance with strict safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Minimum 1 year experience on LPG or VLGC vessels
• Familiarity with IGS/IGG, cargo automation systems, compressors, PLC, and control systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and electronic systems
• Valid Seaman Book
• Valid Gas Familiarization / Advanced Gas Tanker certification
