Job Description:
Crossworld is recruiting 7 experienced Fitters to join bulk carrier vessels. The successful candidates will support the engine and technical departments with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and troubleshooting of onboard machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Assist engineers with planned and corrective maintenance.
Carry out fabrication, fitting, and mechanical workshop duties.
Assist with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems.
Maintain tools, workshop areas, and equipment in safe working condition.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant Fitter/Mechanical certification as applicable
Previous Fitter experience on bulk carrier or similar merchant vessels
Practical mechanical maintenance and repair experience
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
