Job Description:
Star Ocean Manning Philippines Inc. is urgently recruiting experienced Fitters to join its Tanker fleet. The successful candidate will perform fabrication, welding, and mechanical maintenance work to ensure the reliable operation of shipboard machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication work onboard.
Assist the engineering department with machinery maintenance.
Carry out welding, cutting, and fitting tasks.
Maintain workshop equipment and tools.
Follow company maintenance and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as a Fitter on Tanker or Merchant vessels preferred
