Job Description
Capital Shipmanning Phils., Inc. is urgently recruiting 6 Fitters (FTR) for immediate deployment onboard tanker vessels.
Applicants must have valid documentation readily available, at least 18 months of experience in the same position, and international sea-service experience. The most recent sign-off must have taken place within the past nine months. A valid U.S. or Schengen visa is preferred.
The position offers an opportunity for qualified seafarers to undergo immediate evaluation for urgent deployment.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair work on vessel machinery and equipment.
- Assist the engineering team with planned and corrective maintenance.
- Perform welding, fabrication, fitting, and associated workshop duties as required.
- Inspect machinery, components, pipes, and fittings for defects and wear.
- Follow vessel safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
