Job Description:
A qualified Fitter is required to join an LPG Carrier and assist the engineering department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and upkeep of vessel machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair work.
Assist engineers with inspections and troubleshooting.
Perform fitting, fabrication, and repair tasks as required.
Maintain machinery, tools, and working areas in safe condition.
Follow onboard safety and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates, as applicable
Relevant Fitter qualifications and experience
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as a Fitter
LPG / gas vessel experience preferred
