Job Description:
MT Crew Management Philippines Inc. is hiring 1 Fitter to join an Oil/Chemical Tanker vessel. The successful candidate will perform mechanical fitting, maintenance, repair, fabrication, and general workshop duties to support the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical fitting, repairs, and maintenance of vessel equipment.
Assist with welding, cutting, fabrication, and workshop activities.
Support planned maintenance and repairs of deck and engine-room machinery.
Inspect and maintain tools and mechanical equipment in safe working condition.
Follow onboard safety procedures, including hot-work and tanker-specific requirements.
Requirements:
1 Fitter vacancy
Previous experience as a Fitter
Oil/Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid Fitter certification/COP as applicable
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
