Fitter for Oil Chemical / Oil Product Tanker Vessels

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is recruiting a Fitter for an Oil/Chemical or Oil Product Tanker ahead of a new vessel takeover in December 2026.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on vessel equipment.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and fitting work as required.
• Inspect machinery components and report defects.
• Support the engine department during maintenance and repair operations.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment properly.

Requirements

• Relevant Fitter qualifications and experience.
• Valid STCW certificates, as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and seafarer’s documents.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Relevant seagoing experience preferred.

Employment Details

• Salary: USD 2,800 per month
• Joining: December 2026
