Fitter for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is seeking a qualified Fitter to join an LPG Tanker Vessel. The Fitter will support the engine and deck departments with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and troubleshooting of vessel machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Assisting with machinery inspection and troubleshooting.
• Performing welding, fabrication, and fitting work as required.
• Supporting planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Following vessel safety and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant Fitter experience on merchant vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates as applicable.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant trade qualifications/certificates.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents.
