Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced NON-EU Fitter to join the LPG Tanker “Sombeke.” The successful candidate will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and general technical duties onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs of vessel machinery and equipment.
Assist with planned maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Carry out fitting, fabrication, welding, and repair work as required.
Assist engineering officers during inspections and maintenance operations.
Maintain tools, workshop areas, and equipment in safe working condition.
Requirements:
Experienced Fitter
Previous experience on LPG Tankers preferred
Suitable mechanical fitting and maintenance experience
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
NON-EU candidates accepted
Good command of English
Ability to work safely as part of a multinational crew
