Job Description:
A vacancy is available for an experienced Fitter to join an LPG Carrier. The role involves performing mechanical repairs, fabrication work, and preventive maintenance to ensure all machinery and equipment remain in safe operating condition.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs.
Assist engine department with machinery maintenance.
Maintain piping systems, valves, and mechanical components.
Conduct inspections and report equipment defects.
Follow safety procedures during maintenance operations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Fitter on LPG or similar tanker preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
