Job Description:
Executive Manning Services Philippines Inc. is urgently recruiting 2 Fitters (FTR) for deployment onboard an LNG Tanker vessel. The Fitters will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and upkeep of machinery and equipment. Candidates must be available for urgent deployment and meet all applicable maritime certification and medical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment.
Assist engineering officers with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
Perform fitting, fabrication, welding, and workshop-related duties as required.
Inspect mechanical components and report defects to senior engineers.
Follow all onboard safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar engine department position
LNG Tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid seafarer's documents and certificates
Availability for urgent deployment
