Job Description:
Elburg is recruiting a qualified Fitter to join a General Cargo vessel. The successful candidate will assist with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and general engine-room duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance.
Assist with welding, cutting, and fabrication activities.
Support planned maintenance and machinery repairs.
Assist engineering officers with troubleshooting.
Maintain workshop tools and equipment in safe condition.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Fitter
General Cargo vessel experience preferred
Relevant mechanical fitting experience
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
