Job Description:
Synergy Group is currently recruiting experienced Fitters to join General Cargo vessels. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and general engine/deck machinery support as required onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance onboard the vessel.
Perform welding, fabrication, and fitting work as required.
Assist with maintenance of machinery, equipment, and shipboard systems.
Support the engineering and deck departments during repair and maintenance operations.
Follow onboard safety procedures and company regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant experience as a Fitter onboard General Cargo or similar vessels.
Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a multicultural crew.
