Fitter for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

Capital Ship Manning Phils. Inc. is hiring 1 Fitter for a Container Carrier Vessel, with deployment required by November 2026. The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with mechanical repairs, maintenance, and fabrication work as required.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with fabrication and metalwork as required.
• Inspect machinery and report defects to engineering officers.
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment servicing.
• Maintain a safe and organized workshop.

Requirements:

• At least 18 months of experience as a Fitter.
• International sea service experience.
• Last sign-off within the past 9 months.
• Valid maritime documents must be available.
• Relevant trade qualifications and STCW certificates as required.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid U.S. or Schengen visa preferred.
