Fitter for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

Jebsen PTC is seeking an experienced Fitter to join a Container Vessel. The Fitter will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and servicing of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with servicing pumps, valves, pipelines, and machinery.
• Carry out fitting and fabrication work.
• Support planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Follow safe working practices during maintenance and hot-work operations.

Requirements

• Relevant Fitter experience.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Container Vessel experience is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
