Job Description:
Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is recruiting an experienced Fitter to join a Container Carrier Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the engine and maintenance teams with mechanical repairs, equipment maintenance, and general technical work onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs onboard.
- Assisting with maintenance of machinery and technical equipment.
- Performing fabrication, fitting, and repair work as required.
- Supporting the engine department during routine maintenance.
- Following onboard safety procedures and company regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Fitter onboard vessels.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Medical fitness certificate.
- Valid seafarer documents.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Experience on Container Carrier Vessels is an advantage.
