Job Description:
Elburg is recruiting a qualified Fitter to join a Container Ship. The successful candidate will assist the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical fitting, maintenance, and repairs.
Assist with welding, cutting, and fabrication work.
Support planned maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Assist engineers with troubleshooting and mechanical repairs.
Maintain tools and workshop areas safely.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Fitter
Container Ship experience preferred
Relevant mechanical fitting certification/experience
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
