Job Description:
ELWIN Crew Inc. is seeking an experienced Fitter to join a Container Vessel operating on international routes. The role involves carrying out mechanical repairs, fabrication work, and preventive maintenance to ensure the vessel's machinery and equipment remain in safe operating condition.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical maintenance, welding, and fabrication work.
Repair pipelines, valves, pumps, and engine room equipment.
Assist engineering officers during scheduled maintenance.
Maintain workshop equipment and spare parts inventory.
Follow onboard safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Fitter on Container Vessels or similar merchant vessels preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
