Job Description:
Crossworld is recruiting a qualified Fitter to join a Car Carrier Vessel. The Fitter will assist the engineering department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and general upkeep of vessel machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair work.
Assist engineers with inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Perform fitting, fabrication, and welding tasks as required.
Maintain tools and working areas in safe condition.
Follow onboard safety and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates, as applicable
Relevant Fitter qualification and experience
Valid medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as a Fitter
Car Carrier / Ro-Ro vessel experience preferred
