Job Description:
Crossworld is seeking experienced Fitters to join its fleet of Bulk Carrier Vessels. The selected candidates will be responsible for mechanical repairs, fabrication work, and maintenance of shipboard machinery and equipment to ensure reliable vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mechanical repairs and fabrication work onboard.
Assist the engineering department during machinery maintenance.
Perform welding, cutting, and fitting tasks as required.
Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good working order.
Follow company safety procedures and planned maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as a Fitter on Bulk Carrier or other merchant vessels
Good mechanical maintenance and fabrication skills
