Job Description:
Jebsen PTC is seeking a skilled Fitter to join its Bulk Carrier fleet. The successful candidate will perform fabrication, welding, mechanical repairs, and maintenance of shipboard equipment while supporting the engineering department.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform welding, fabrication, and steel repairs onboard.
Repair mechanical equipment, pipelines, and deck machinery.
Assist with planned maintenance and equipment overhauls.
Maintain workshop equipment and housekeeping.
Follow company safety and maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as Fitter on Bulk Carriers or similar vessels preferred
