Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is seeking an experienced Fitter to join a Bulk Carrier Vessel.

The Fitter will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and troubleshooting of vessel machinery and equipment, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with onboard safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on vessel machinery.
• Assist with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Carry out fitting, fabrication, welding, and repair work as required.
• Support planned maintenance activities in the engine department.
• Follow all onboard safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Fitter
• Relevant Bulk Carrier Vessel experience preferred
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Good English communication skills
