Job Description:
Noah Global Maritime is hiring experienced Fitters for Bulk Carrier vessels operating on worldwide routes, with expected deployment in October. The Fitter will be responsible for assisting with mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and fitting work onboard, supporting the safe and reliable operation of vessel machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform mechanical fitting, repair, and maintenance work.
- Assist with machinery repairs, overhauls, and preventive maintenance.
- Carry out welding and fabrication work as required.
- Inspect mechanical equipment and report defects.
- Follow onboard safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant Fitter certification/documents required for the position.
- Minimum 2 contracts in the same position and on the same type of vessel.
- International sea experience.
- Good command of English.
- Male applicants only.
- Maximum age: 50 years.
- Previous experience as a Fitter on Bulk Carriers or similar vessels.
