Job Description:
An urgent recruitment opportunity is available for 4 Fitters to join Bulk Carrier vessel operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and fitting work onboard, supporting the vessel's safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical fitting, repairs, and maintenance of vessel equipment.
Carry out welding, cutting, fabrication, and general workshop duties.
Assist with planned maintenance and repairs of deck and engine-room machinery.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe and operational condition.
Follow onboard safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Fitter
Bulk Carrier experience preferred
Relevant mechanical, fitting, welding, and fabrication experience
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew
