Job Description:
Synergy Group is currently recruiting experienced Fitters to join Bulk Carrier vessels. Candidates should have previous sea experience and be capable of performing mechanical maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and fitting work onboard to support safe and efficient vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance onboard the vessel.
Perform fitting, welding, fabrication, and repair work as required.
Assist with maintenance and overhaul of machinery and shipboard equipment.
Support the engineering team during planned and corrective maintenance.
Follow all onboard safety procedures and company regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Previous sea experience as a Fitter is mandatory.
Relevant experience onboard Bulk Carriers or similar merchant vessels is preferred.
Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a multicultural crew.
