Job Description:
Elwin Crew Management Inc. is seeking a qualified Fitter to join a Bulk Carrier. The successful candidate will support the engine and technical departments with maintenance, repairs, and other mechanical duties onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform mechanical maintenance and repair work on vessel machinery and equipment.
Assist engineering officers with inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Carry out welding, fabrication, and fitting work as required.
Maintain tools, machinery, and working areas in safe and operational condition.
Follow onboard safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Fitter onboard a Bulk Carrier or similar vessel.
Valid STCW certificates, as applicable.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Valid seafarer documentation.
Relevant mechanical and fitting experience.
Good English communication skills.
