Job Description:
Al Bireo Maritime People & Performance Inc. is hiring an experienced Fitter to join a Bulk Carrier vessel for ASAP deployment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical fitting, maintenance, repair, and fabrication work onboard, supporting the safe and efficient operation of vessel machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform mechanical maintenance, fitting, and repair work onboard.
- Assist with machinery overhauls and preventive maintenance.
- Carry out welding and fabrication work as required.
- Inspect mechanical equipment and report defects.
- Follow onboard safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Relevant Fitter certification and seafarer's documents.
- Previous sea experience as a Fitter.
- Bulk Carrier experience is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of an international crew.
