Fitter for Aframax Tanker Vessel

PT. Aliyah Est Indonesia is looking for an experienced Fitter to join an Aframax Tanker.

The Fitter will assist with mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding, and maintenance of vessel equipment and machinery. Previous experience in the same position on Aframax Tankers is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing mechanical repairs and maintenance of vessel equipment.
• Carrying out fabrication, fitting, and welding work as required.
• Assisting engineers with machinery inspections and repairs.
• Maintaining tools and workshop equipment.
• Following onboard safety procedures during maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as Fitter on Aframax Tankers is mandatory.
• Updated BST MSC 560.
• All documents and certificates valid for more than 18 months.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant welding or fitting qualifications, where applicable.
• Fluent English communication skills.
