Engine Fitter for LNG Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

Wilhelmsen is hiring 2 Engine Fitters for a takeover LNG Tanker vessel. The successful candidates will support the engine department with mechanical maintenance, machinery repairs, overhauls, fitting, and workshop activities. Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with machinery overhauls and servicing.
• Perform fitting and fabrication work as required.
• Support engineering officers during maintenance activities.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and maintain workshop equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Previous experience onboard LNG vessels is mandatory.
• Valid BTLGT Certificate of Proficiency (COP).
• Relevant experience as an Engine Fitter on LNG vessels.
