ETR for General Cargo Vessel

Job Description

PT Nesia Cipta Akasah is recruiting an Electro-Technical Rating (ETR) for an 18,000 GRT General Cargo Vessel. The ETR will assist with the maintenance and safe operation of electrical and electronic equipment onboard under the direction of the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Supporting troubleshooting and repair of electrical installations.
• Conducting routine inspections and reporting electrical defects.
• Assisting with maintenance of lighting, alarms, motors, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Following onboard electrical safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid ETR certification / qualification.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
• Relevant electrical experience onboard merchant vessels.
• Valid Seafarer’s Book and passport.
• Proficiency in English communication.
