Job Description:
Spectrum Marine and Ship Management Inc. is recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join tanker vessels. The ETO will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of the vessel's electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, automation, and control equipment.
Monitor alarms, instrumentation, and vessel control systems.
Conduct inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ETO Certificate of Competency
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous ETO experience on VLCC, Aframax, Suezmax, or similar tankers
Relevant experience with tanker electrical and automation systems
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
