Job Description:
Elwin Crew Management Inc. is currently recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Tanker Vessel. The ETO will be responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems.
The position requires a qualified ETO with valid maritime certificates and relevant experience in a similar role onboard tanker or other merchant vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems.
Carry out routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
Assist with repairs and fault-finding of electrical machinery and control systems.
Ensure electrical operations comply with onboard safety procedures and company standards.
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ETO / Electro-Technical Officer certification and relevant CoC, as applicable
Valid medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous experience as an ETO onboard a tanker or similar vessel
Valid seafarer documentation
