Job Description

Westminster Seafarer Management Philippines, Inc. is looking for a qualified ETO to maintain and troubleshoot the vessel’s electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining electrical power generation and distribution systems.
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Maintaining automation, alarm, monitoring, and control systems.
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance and documenting completed work.
  • Following electrical safety procedures and supporting emergency readiness.

Requirements

  • Appropriate ETO certification or qualifications for the vessel and flag requirements.
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
  • Relevant experience as an ETO on merchant vessels; tanker experience preferred or as required.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Valid passport and Seaman’s Book.
  • Additional qualifications required by the employer.
