ETO for Tanker / Bulk Carrier / Container Carrier Vessels

Job Description

Minerva Marine Agency, Inc. is recruiting Electro-Technical Officers (ETOs) to maintain and oversee electrical, electronic, and automation systems aboard its vessels.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Troubleshoot faults in generators, motors, control systems, and automation equipment.
• Inspect electrical installations and ensure safe operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and maintain technical records.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and support vessel operations.

Requirements

• Relevant ETO qualification and applicable certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant seagoing experience on the applicable vessel type.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Complete and valid seafarer’s documents and certificates.
