ETO for Ro-Ro / General Cargo Vessels

Job Description:

PTC is inviting applications from qualified Electro-Technical Officers (ETO) to join a Ro-Ro / General Cargo Vessels. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical, electronic, and automation systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Inspect generators, motors, power distribution systems, and control equipment.
• Maintain automation, alarm, and monitoring systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and electrical repairs.
• Follow onboard safety procedures and maintain technical records.

Requirements:

• Relevant ETO qualifications and certification.
• Experience in a similar position, preferably on cargo vessels.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
