ETO for Panamax Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

KJCM Maritime Corporation is urgently hiring an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Panamax Bulk Vessel.

The candidate must have relevant ME (Main Engine) experience and be available for ASAP deployment. The position offers a monthly salary of USD 6,065, plus a Seniority Bonus.

The ETO will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel's electrical, electronic, and automation systems, supporting safe and reliable vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Carry out inspections, testing, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Support maintenance and operation of engine-room electrical and automation systems.
• Diagnose electrical and control-system faults and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with vessel safety procedures and company standards.

Requirements

• Valid ETO Certificate of Competency / applicable certification
• ME (Main Engine) experience – Required
• Previous experience on Bulk Vessels is advantageous
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
• Proficiency in English communication
• Availability for ASAP deployment
