Job Description:
A reputable shipping company is urgently recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Panamax Bulk Carrier. The selected candidate will join the vessel in China on 5 August 2026.
Open Position:
- Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment and engine room control systems.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance in accordance with company procedures.
- Diagnose electrical faults and minimize equipment downtime.
- Comply with company safety procedures and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Electro-Technical Officer (ETO).
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate.
- Seaman's Book and Passport.
- Minimum one completed contract as an ETO on a Panamax Bulk Carrier vessel (mandatory).
- Good English communication skills.
