Vessel Type: Open-Hatch Gantry Crane Vessel
A reputable shipping company is seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join its fleet of Open-Hatch Gantry Crane Vessels. Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and repair all electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard.
Troubleshoot electrical faults affecting propulsion, cargo handling, and auxiliary equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on gantry crane electrical systems and related machinery.
Ensure compliance with company maintenance procedures and international maritime regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency
Previous experience as an ETO
Experience on Open-Hatch Gantry Crane Vessels is an advantage
Strong knowledge of marine electrical and automation systems
